Audio Clip Cutter
Choose a short audio file, set a start and end, then make a fresh WAV. Free, with no account or uploads.
1. Choose audio
Up to 10 MiB. WAV, MP3, M4A, Ogg, FLAC, AAC or WebM only when this browser can decode them. Mono or stereo, up to 3 minutes, 8–96 kHz decoded rate and 64 MiB of decoded samples. Large compressed files may use substantial memory while decoding, before decoded limits can be checked. Start with a short file.
No audio loaded.
Successfully loading a new file replaces this tab's source, range and WAV. A failed replacement keeps your accepted work.
2. Select a range
Choose a valid range.
Start and end round down to decoded sample-frame boundaries; the end frame is excluded. Ranges smaller than one whole frame are rejected. Browser decoding can resample audio; this page shows the decoded rate, not a guaranteed original encoded rate.
Playback starts only when you press Play. Start at a comfortable device volume. Editing the range or clearing stops playback.
3. Create a copy
16-bit PCM WAV, up to 16 MiB. WAV can be much larger than compressed input; shorten the range if needed. This re-encodes decoded samples, not a lossless MP3/AAC cut. Channels stay in their decoded order. Hard cuts may click; no fades or normalization are applied.
Choose audio to start.

Preview and download are separate actions. Open and check your saved copy before relying on it. No saved-file result is confirmed by this page.
Enjoying Mike’s work?
Why does Mike offer these tools for free?
I believe useful tools should be available to everyone, regardless of income. As AI and other changes reshape work, people may lose jobs or face financial uncertainty. Access to practical tools should not depend on having money to spare.
People can help one another by making more services freely accessible. Mike Freeify is my contribution toward that goal, and I plan to keep expanding its collection of free tools wherever I can. If you choose to buy me a coffee, thank you.
Using these tools never depends on a contribution.
Help Mike continue this work by buying him a coffee.
Contributions are optional. These tools are free to use, with or without a donation. Each tool’s file and browser limits still apply.
